Water Sports on Petit St. Vincent

Our surrounding waters are perfect for water sports lovers wanting to experience the beauty of our 115-acre Caribbean island.

Water Sports on Petit St. Vincent

The turquoise water surrounding our island
is both delightfully warm and welcoming.

There’s nothing like the rush of windsurfing on a clear day or to simply float over the Caribbean Sea in a glass-bottom kayak. Guests of all experience levels can enjoy our state-of-the art water sports equipment.

Non-motorized equipment such as kayaks, SUP’s, Hobie Cats, Sunfish, windsurfers and snorkeling gear are complimentary at the water sports center at the base of our main dock. Safety equipment such as vests are provided, and for any needed assistance our staff will be stationed around the beach area to ensure that help is always at hand.

Circling the 2-mile circumference of the island in late afternoon in a kayak is a fun way to see the beaches and island terrain from a different perspective as the colors of the sky take on a warm hue past Conch Bay.

Whether you wish to go for a relaxing swim or want to check out the marine life and coral reefs around the resort, snorkels and fins are complementary from the boathouse. A popular entry point into the water can be had from our Atlantic Pier, stretching out over the coral reef paralleling the shore. The warm water can be accessed by a swim ladder or taking a giant leap-—which is great fun.

Kite Surfing and Diving

For more adventurous guests, kite surfing and scuba diving are available from
reputable local providers. We’ll make the arrangements simple for you, just tell us
when you would like to go and we’ll organize everything. This will allow you to
concentrate on more important things like reading your favorite book in your tree-slung hammock with a refreshing drink by your side before taking advantage of the welcoming Caribbean waters.

Deep Sea Fishing

Head out early morning or late afternoon and try your luck at catching supper. Our
boat crew will guide you through the local waters trawling a selection of enticing lures. If you suspect a fish, we’ll take the bait and put up a fun fight. Regular catches include mahi mahi, jacks, great barracuda, Spanish mackerel and bonito. Whatever you bring home, our team of chefs will be more than happy to prepare it for your evening meal.
