PSV FALL 2012 NEWSLETTER

Petit St. Vincent 12°32'

October 2012

We trust you all had a wonderful summer complete wih plenty of relaxation and new adventures. At Petit St.Vincent we kept busy and pursued improvements in all areas. With a full year since our renovation now behind us, the resort is undergoing its annual check-up and getting ready to welcome you back as of November 1. To make it easier to get to our island, we made an agreement with Mustique Airways to offer daily round-trip air service between Barbados and Union Island. In the pages below you can read the details of this improved way of traveling “the last mile.”

The island has also garnered recognition and awards that reinforce our reputation as a unique island paradise where luxury, nature and privacy provide the ultimate getaway experience. We hope you continue to keep PSV in your travel plans and take advantage of the packages and offers we have for the upcoming season.

IT’S NOW EASIER TO GET TO PETIT ST. VINCENT!

Private Charter Airlift News

June 2012

Beginning November 1, 2012 (when we re‐open as usual from our traditional Sep‐Oct maintenance “break”), guests who wish our office to arrange their “last mile” travel to PSV on the Barbados‐Union‐Barbados route will be booked on flights that will be specifically scheduled and exclusively operated by Mustique Airways for PSV guests.

Mustique Airways, which is the oldest airline operating in the Grenadines, will service the Barbados-Union-Barbados run daily as needed with twin engine aircraft (6 passenger Norman Islanders and 4 passenger Rockwell Aero Commanders). These planes will ensure that your flight experience will be private, because only your group or other PSV guests will travel with you. More importantly, this flight will wait for your late-arriving aircraft provided that the aircraft was originally scheduled so as to normally arrive in time to connect to Union Island. Finally, if takeoff is delayed until after Union Island airport closes at sunset, the flight can alternatively land at lighted Canouan airport, still just a 45-minute boat ride away from our island.

PSV has negotiated a flat‐rate charge of US$600 per person for the round trip Barbados‐Union‐Barbados.

Robinson Crusoe with deep pockets—local stone and wood, an open-air beach bar with a thatched roof, and a view over the reef that’s so breathtaking it could be a screen saver. Every fantasy you’ve ever had about a desert island—talcum-powder sand, swaying palms, frangipani, hummingbirds, and just the right amount of isolation. Last but never least, the food is sensational—try the lobster-and-papaya salad or the creole crab backs at the beach bar.
